Striking and highly collectible fish-themed ceramic tableware set by French ceramicist Monique Brunner, dating from the mid-20th century. Each piece features expressive hand-painted marine creatures – including lobsters, fish, crabs and fantastical sea life – in vivid red, orange and black glazes on a cloudy blue-grey background.
Executed in a bold, modernist style, the pieces reflect the energy and creativity of post-war French ceramics.
