This vibrant ceramic set by Robert Picault, a key figure of the Vallauris pottery scene in the 1950s, is a striking example of mid-century French design. The ensemble includes a signature tripod-lidded soup tureen, six octagonal dinner plates, and three serving dishes in varying shapes and patterns.
Adorned with Picault’s iconic turquoise, green, and cobalt geometric motifs, each piece is hand-decorated and signed “RP” on the base. This collection perfectly embodies the charm and artistic flair of the South of France in the post-war era, ideal for collectors or as a statement piece on a summer table.
